Finding Flexion

A soft air practice to gently open up your spine, perfect for those of you a little nervous of ‘overly back-bending’ in a faster vinyasa class. The asana sequence creates elasticity in the frontal hip joint and a deeper awareness through the back body, across and down the spinal column.

Simple and serene this water practice will focus on an array of pyramid poses to stretch your legs and activate a little hip adduction. Let’s play with our sensations of buoyancy and float. A strong yet active vinyasa flow (nearly placed into the sun series!). Veil of Truth

In Tantric texts they belief that our soul or inner light of awareness is covered by a veil of dust - a covering called ‘maya’. This film/dust is also known as the illusion that prevents us from seeing the world clearly. Here we lift that veil of illusion - using the physical practise to unearth what lies beneath. Can we really use this time on our mats to sink into a state of flow, moving to and fro can we quieten our busy minds? This practise slightly repeats certain movements and particular poses. There is slightly more attention towards the hips and pelvis - a great practise if you are trying to mentally process something or if your looking for an all body stretch.

A warm vinyasa designed to wake up your feet! We often ignore our incredible feet by shoving them into shoes and forgetting just how much they assist our agility and sense of grace. Working with ankle rotations, heal balances as well as inner arch extensions we move through an invigorating vinyasa to ignite all the muscles surrounding the feet.
