Sometimes we can feel like our feet don’t touch the ground. We can forget how the body came from one cell and one beginning. Even though there are MANY different facets of the self, we are ultimately whole and sitting within a sense of flow. Here in this heart felt practice where we use the hands as a place of contact to feel into the body, our inner Self and our inner essence of warmth and security. Enjoy coming home to yourself.

This ashtanga inspired vinyasa weaves it’s way through some traditional sun A’s and B’s into a playful and energetic array of standing poses. Some of my absolute favourite transitions are in here! We’ll look closely at triangle and parsvottanasana. (If your a little tight in your hamstrings go grab some blocks). You’ll be surprised just how many poses are in this flow. Intention here is not so much the poses themselves but how they are linked - through prana! Our primary force, notice how it ignites the senses and generates rhythm and ease within the practice.

A fluid flowing vinyasa full of dynamic standing poses. Let’s move from the skin, from the largest organ of the body to heighten your sensitivity to the great outline of the physical self. This is a warm, energising flow suitable for all levels.

1st Aug ‘22
A short vinyasa, starting in seated and swiftly moving onto a juicy standing flow. There are lots of poses incorporated into this all level practice. We’ll move in a mandala like circle around the mat, finding some deep side stretches and forward folds to balance out a few back backbends and hip openers. You could use this flow to just wake up or perhaps shake off a long day!

One of three vinyasa classes in our Goddess series devoted to the Divine Feminine, an energy that taps into our deepest sense of intuition, maternal instincts and sensuality. This nourishing flow is dedicated to Durga, the goddess of power and strength. Although placed within the sun series, this is a steady practice, focusing on the mental fire of this divine goddess. Prepare to delve into an array of hip openers and movements which represent Durga’s ability to ‘cut through the egos cord’!

Moving 360 degrees around our mats, breathing and flowing through poses and inversions that open our shoulders, hip flexors and quads; and strengthen our back body allowing us to go deeper and more safely into backbends and heart openers; activating Anahata chakra, our heart centre. Be prepared this is the most energising of the 4 mandala classes launched in April ‘22. Expect to hop, jump and spring into action throughout this exuberant air mandala.

A playful and dynamic practice, moving 360 degrees around the mat, softly flowing through strong poses and inversions to the rhythm of the breath. The sequences are designed to target deep twists and the core abdominals. The class will begin and close and with some slower and soft postures to compliment the subtle chakra Manipura - placed deep within the physical body. A creative Vinyasa practice to satisfy and challenge the body and mind!
